Bin 5 Gastonia

This place is absolutely amazing! I just walked in on a whim about an hour before close on $1 Wednesday and found enough items to fill one of their 33 gallon bags to almost breaking. This stuff will easily feed a reselling side hustle for at least a week! Alexis was so friendly and helpful, passing me a bunch of items that were similar to what I was looking for as she cleaned up the rest of the trash out of the bins. All the other workers were just as wonderful, I felt very valued and welcome and not rushed even though the place was closing and I was still finishing sifting. The only complaint someone might possibly have (which is not really in their control) is that there was a LOT of trash and empty packaging in those bins. It seems that people sometimes come in like animals and rip things open to get to the item itself and leave the mess behind for everyone else to wade through. Unfortunate and disrespectful, but what can you do? They said they're going to be kicking people out when they catch them acting that way, so hopefully it won't take long to cut off those habits. Do yourself a favor and come in here for just an hour any day you can... If I found all this good stuff on their "worst"/cheapest day of the week, I can only imagine what you can get away with on a Saturday! I will most definitely be back.

Review of trash situation not store itself I appreciate it the store and the staff . But your parking lot is filthy with trash piss jugs and whatever else . Sadly it's your customers doing it . I know staff doesn't want to clean it . Maybe hire a bum there plenty wondering around . It's actually probably the land owners responsible so please reply and publish who that is or who you are paying rent too. I'd love to give them an earful . Always taking the check never putting profit into making the place not look like trash dump .

I've been here twice now and both times have been awesome. The manager(I'm sorry I can't remember his name) is an excellent people person, whoever hired him did an excellent job. He knows how to talk to people,he's very friendly , polite and professional. The store is clean and the staff is awesome. The only negative I found is they don't have a public restroom so go before you go.I will be back and I highly recommend this Bin 5 location. I'll try to get pictures next time.
